Mobile and Web Developer

💻 My objectives

Because I've been learning a lot with very skilled people, I want to keep learning while also being able to use my skills and experience to help others grow.

Thanks for your consideration!

⌨️ Current Role

I'm currently with the position of CIO and Lead Mobile Developer at Trash4Goods - a startup based in Lisbon that gamifies the recycling experience, making it fun, accessible, and rewarding for users.
I'm responsible for the front-end development (our mobile app), turning mockups into a real product.

I believe that learning is a lifetime commitment

🤹 Skills

The tools and languages I've used so far. They helped me create projects and turn ideas into reality.

  • PHP

  • JavaScript

  • HTML

  • MySQL

  • CSS

  • Flutter (using Dart)

  • Unity (using C#)

  • Procreate

  • Aerosol Paint

🫧 My Hobbies

From riding my motorcycle, working out, bouldering, climbing and going on hikes in difficult terrain, my hobbies usually involve something that makes my heart race while enjoying a beautiful view. My lifetime obsession with graffiti made me one with a spray can. I've been doing mural commisions since 2018 and this is where the name sNsational comes from: a play on the word sensational and the acronym S.N. (Sem Nome - or 'without a name').

🏆 Achievements

Some art contests and projects I've participated in

🎨 Art Contests

I've placed 2nd at the Manga Drawing Contest at Iberanime Lx2016 and won 1st place the following year, at Iberanime Lx 2017.I've also participated in the 2018 Graffiti Contest for ComicCon Lisboa, that consisted on painting a mural in the main plaza of the event to promote it, along with other contestants, having been placed 2nd.

🚀 Projects

During the events of the art contests, I've met some artists that were selling their work in the dedicated art market and developed a Web application to be used as a Point-of-Sale and to keep track of sales numbers and inventory.Recently, I've been working with Trash4Goods taking the position of CIO, and being responsible for the development of the Mobile App.

🔧 Previous Employment

My first professional experience was in C# Software development as an intern. Then it came the opportunity to work as an RPA Developer, using UIPath, then after studying Mobile Applications Development at ISTEC, I've switched to work as a Mobile and Web Developer.

Currently working as a Mobile Developer

🤖 RPA Developer

I've worked from 2018 to 2021 as a Robotics Process Automation Developer at NOS, S.A. and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, S.A., both at the Financial Department through a consulting company. Even though I've enjoyed working at big corporations and the salary was really good at the time, UIPath was a no-code platform, so I felt behind when it came to actual coding and development experience, which was what I wanted to do.

📱 Mobile and Web

After learning Mobile Development at ISTEC and taking an internship, then a work contract at Orange Dimension, Lda. as a Web and Mobile Developer before the company split in 2023, I felt like I have learned more in the time I've been there than in the previous years as an RPA Developer. After the split, I've decided to embrace other projects still as a Mobile and Web Developer.
